The IRAK x adidas ZX 8000 GTX “Solar Red” is one of two highly sought-after colorways of the classic silhouette created by the New York City graffiti crew for Summer 2020. IRAK’s long awaited follow-up to its late 2000s collection with adidas now includes two new designs with a similar multicolor aesthetic to both the 2007 and 2008 releases. Here, this “Solar Red” design features a lightweight grey GORE-TEX mesh base that is visible on the mid-panel, toe, and collar. Contrasting black nubuck can be found on the forefoot, toe cap, and lower eyelets. Like previous iterations of the IRAK x adidas collaboration, silver “IRAK” detailing with the year of the shoe’s release, in this case 2020, can be found printed on the toe cap. Green leather Three Stripes branding and black GORE-TEX insignia appear on either side. Swathes of Solar Red accenting come into play on the liner, cotton laces, mesh tongue, and leather detailing on the heel. Release date: August 28, 2020.
