Description: Albino Hoplo Cats are a peaceful catfish that will help clean up the bottom of the tank by scavenging for leftover food. These catfish originate from the northern region of South America. The Albino Hoplo Catfish can be kept as a sole individual, but they do tend to hide more when kept this way. These catfish become more social and outgoing when they are kept in schools of 6 or more. Provide plenty of hiding places, such as driftwood and caves, to help make these fish feel more secure. This fish has a light pink or cream colored body with a black spotting pattern. This catfish is pretty hardy and can withstand a wide range of water conditions.
